Our comprehensive list of safety features

The Grandis boasts a comprehensive list of passive safety features that come as standard on every model. These include six airbags, including curtain bags, ISOFIX child seat attachment and Mitsubishi’s RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) construction method. RISE enables different structural components to interact to minimise impact forces transmitted to the occupants. Even the brake pedal is designed to collapse away from the driver’s feet. The result is an exceptionally strong and safe way for your family to travel.

Assured Family Protection

Of course it’s best that these passive safety systems are never used. Therefore the Grandis is also very well equipped with a whole range of active safety features to give you the surefooted confidence you need even in situations beyond your immediate control. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) are fitted as standard on all models, as is Emergency Brake Assist, which provides maximum braking force the instant your foot hits the pedal hard. Our available Active Stability and Traction Control (ASTC) is a state-of-the-art safety system to ensure excellent vehicle stability at all times on any road.
